Shitan Eighteen Village has different scenery throughout the year.
Spring Shitan, from early March to mid-April, is the most beautiful season in Shitan. Photographers and tourists gathered all over the country. Clouds and mists filled the mountain villages, and peach, plum and rape blossoms competed to open. On the hillside, in the fields, in the river islands, the golden rape flowers are like golden carpets on the earth. Peach, plum and white adorn them, everywhere is the sea of flowers, everywhere is the world of color. Unlike Wuyuan, Shitan Mountain Village has a stronger sense of hierarchy and is a three-dimensional picture of spring.
Shitan in summer, from July to September, is the season for sunflower to open. Under the clear sky, the sunflower rises in the direction of the sun! Shitan belongs to subtropical climate. In summer, Shitan is warm and humid, and the sea of clouds is frequent. Flowers blossom brilliantly, and the sea of clouds is surging. In summer, the night of Shitan Mountain Village is full of stars and cool breezes. It is also a summer resort.
The autumn Shitan has gorgeous autumn color and autumn sunshine humanistic landscape. The sky is high and the mountains are far away. The winter stone pool is wrapped in silver, and the wax plum is fragrant. It is also a fairyland of Penglai.
Winter's Shitan, if it is covered with snow and silver, must exist as a fairy tale. The Hui-style dwellings with scattered layers are dressed in white winter clothes, and the mottled grey walls are more historical and heavy, and the vicissitudes of the years. This land, which is full of the inheritance of Hui-style culture, is clearly a dream of nostalgia.
Shitan has a long history, where you can see well-preserved Hui architecture everywhere. Shitan is also one of the habitats and birthplaces of the Wu family. The Huayuan River at the foot of the mountain winds through Changxi, the first ancient town in Chennan, and finally merges into Xin'an River, the mother river of Huizhou merchants.
Shitan, beautiful mountains and rivers since ancient times, outstanding people. It's just that I don't know a boudoir. Today, once the altar is opened, it will be fragrant for thousands of miles. Shitan is another high-quality tourism resource that nature presents to Huangshan. It integrates flower appreciation, photography, leisure and tourism, and will be more in people's sight.
Brassica napus and sunflower in Shitan
Shitan rapeseed flower is different from Wuyuan, mainly distributed on slopes. Compared with Wuyuan rapeseed flower, the color of Shitan rapeseed flower is more brilliant, probably because of the relationship between soil and varieties. Because of the different levels of slope land and the angle of illumination, together with the elements of cloud sea, mountains and rivers, Shitan is a very suitable place for photographers who like to catch light and shadow. For the vast number of donkey friends, in the spring sunshine, breathing the sweet air, looking at the mountain is full of golden armor, walking through Shitan Village is undoubtedly a beautiful enjoyment.
The sunflower in Shitan is another great sight which has been rising only in the last two years. Although the planting area is not large, it has strong ornamental value. Local flower growers, under the guidance of the village and town governments, intercropped in batches, and the flowering period lasted for seven to eight months. If managed properly and the climate is suitable, Shitan has become one of the most potential ornamental flowers besides rapeseed.
Shitan The sea of clouds
The sea of clouds in Shitan is changeable, rolling and magnificent in the mountains. Sometimes the atmosphere is huge, sometimes the air is misty as smoke. The villages that linger among them are looming like mirages in Yaolin Wonderland. Sometimes, under the light, Buddha's light suddenly appears, which is amazing.
Shitan Eighteen Sceneries
Shitan Shili Mountain Village has been known as Shitan Shizhai since ancient times. Eighteen villages are mostly scattered on the hillside around Shitan Village. Different villages have different customs and original ecological landscape. It's worth 10 days and a half months to approach them and savor their taste.
The cloud sea in Xiatai, the sunset in Beishan, the high-rise of Shimutai, the thousand-year-old Ginkgo biloba in Shitai, the western Hunan style in Yangchuan, etc. are not enough; there are also typical southern water ports in Nashitan village where bamboo is noisy and raccoon is returning, and the hundred-year Shiqiao bridge in Qingxi River is an important part of Shitan's eighteen scenery.
Shitan Ancient Temple
Shitan is the inhabitant of Wu family, and 89 of them are descendants of Wu family. There is a saying that when Shitan was eliminated, all the stockades were Wu's. Among these villages, Hushan village is the only one with a different surname, most of which are Lu surname. But for various reasons, under the guidance of the government, they have moved downhill and left their ancestors'resting places. There are currently four well-preserved Wu ancestral halls in Shitan Village, of which Chunhui Hall and Xulun Hall are the most famous. In the meantime, the carved railings and painted buildings are magnificent and have the style of everyone.
Xuluntang, also known as Xiamen Temple and Bailiang Hall, is a national historical protection unit. Founded in the Ming and Jiaqing Dynasties (1554), it was repaired in the Qing Dynasty. Five three into, 15 meters wide, 45 meters deep, into the trabecular 100. The latter has been rebuilt; the former is in the Qing Dynasty style, with exquisite carvings of eaves and diagonal braces on the doorway and eight immortal figures; the latter retains the Ming Dynasty style, with raspberry foundation, Tibetan T-shaped arch under the moon beam, lotus plate under the melon pillar and gold pillar, and inverted willow flower arrangement at the junction of the latter and the beams, matched with cushions and beams carved under the latter. Carved sparrows, very beautiful. Xuluntang is a traditional Hall of Huizhou corridor courtyard style. The foyer of Wufeng Tower has flying wings, exquisite beam frame structure, complex carving and decoration, rich spatial layers and unique style. It's Wu's ancestral temple.
Chunhui Hall, also known as door-to-door ancestral hall, was built in the Qing Dynasty, sitting in the East and west, three into three. Stone drums stand on both sides of the gate, directly opposite the main street of Shitan. The main hall is open, brick, wood and stone carvings have their own characteristics; the middle hall is full of red paint, body.
These two ancestral temples represent the typical characteristics of Huizhou ancestral temples of different periods and types, which are of great value to the study of Huizhou patriarchal clan system and Huizhou architectural history. At present, these two ancestral halls have become places for discussion, gathering and exhibition of photographs, calligraphy and painting exchanges in Shitan Village, and have been well protected by the local government.
In addition to Xuluntang and Chunhuitang, there are also Zhishan Tang and Zhiqing Tang (also known as Chaonan Hall), which stand on Shitan Zhengjie. One street and four halls stand side by side, which is unique even in Huizhou.
Shitan Ancient Residence
Shitan village has its own characteristics, and its pattern is bird's nest. Nine curves and eighteen lanes, the forcing ancient Lane Lane is also its unique place. Such alleys can only be passed by one person. If two people meet, they must be sideways. From this point, we can see that Shitan's great-grandfather Ding prospered, and his ancestors lived happily and crowdedly in this geomantic treasure land. Shitan Ancient Village is a typical Hui-style village with full charm of the south of the Yangtze River. The old shaving workshop has been in the middle street between Chunhuitang and Xuluntang for a hundred years; the old man who pulls Erhu at the entrance, who is old but spiritual, echoes the sound of Erhu on the high wall courtyard with flying eaves and feet, and the melodious notes shuttle in the lanes; the shoemaker at the crossroads, who concentrates on his work. Man, let the crowd come and go. Walking along the small street of stone pool bluestone slab, it suddenly happens that you are interlaced in time and space, and do not know the Wei and Jin Dynasties. Time seems to be so static. Despite the destruction of some exquisite wooden carvings and stone carvings during the cultural catastrophe, the local government has done a lot of protection and restoration work in recent years, which makes the old houses with well-preserved structures still everywhere in Shitan ancient village, especially in a few places. Ancient Hui-style houses with elegant architecture exist at the old waterfront, the old bridge head turning right down to Shuibei, and on both sides of Maolingtou Ancient Road from Shitan Zhengjie Street. They are full of the breath of time, precipitating the memories of the years.
